Bring the business figures together before filing.

PayStubCheck’s Schedule C tool organizes the business information, income, and expenses you enter into a record for one selected tax year. Work through the sections, inspect the year-specific preview, and retain the PDF and CSV as part of your preparation records.

Start with records you have already reconciled. The prompts cover items such as inventory, meals, vehicle use, and business use of a home, while separate supporting calculations and review acknowledgements remain your responsibility. Generating a record does not file a tax return.

The record you are preparing

  • Business identity, activity code, and accounting choices
  • Income and expense entries mapped to the selected year
  • Inventory, vehicle, meals, and home-use review details
  • Reviewed supporting amounts and acknowledgements
  • A PDF preparation record and a CSV of entered information

Years and preparation limits

The generator offers calendar years 2020–2026. The 2026 record uses a draft basis and is marked for preparation only, not filing. Changing the year can change the prompts and supported mappings; review retained entries against the selected year before continuing.

Next step

Make the preparation record easy to review.

A clear record lets you trace the totals back to their supporting documents. Prepare those documents individually and check how they relate to the selected business and year.

Organizing expense support?

Prepare an expense and mileage record that lists the dates, descriptions, and amounts behind your figures. Reimbursement records and deductible expenses are not interchangeable.

  • Keep the source receipts and mileage details
  • Separate personal and business entries
  • Review the totals before using them elsewhere

Need a different income document?

Compare the standalone products before creating another record. A paystub, earnings statement, and 1099 recipient copy serve different documentation purposes.

  • Choose the document for the intended use
  • Enter the relevant parties and payment details
  • Review each preview independently

Questions about your preparation record

Will this send my return to the IRS?

No. PayStubCheck creates a preparation record from your entries. You must review the completed return and use a separate filing process.

What files accompany the completed record?

The supported delivery includes the selected year’s PDF preparation record and a CSV copy of the entered information. Clean delivery requires a verified payment when purchases are available.

Can I use the 2026 draft as a final filing form?

No. The 2026 output is explicitly marked as draft-basis preparation material. Review final forms and applicable requirements through your filing process.

What should I review before using the totals?

Check the selected year, source records, retained entries, review warnings, and required separate supporting calculations. The generator does not determine every return-level limitation or replace individual tax advice.

A preparation record does not establish that an expense is deductible or that a return is complete. Separate depreciation, self-employment tax, loss limitations, and other supporting calculations may be required. Review the record before relying on it.
