Corrections & Updates

Payroll laws, agency guidance, tax tables, and web links change. PayStubCheck maintains a correction process so public research can be updated without hiding uncertainty or silently preserving known errors.

Reporting an issue

If you find an inaccurate statement, broken official link, outdated rule, or inconsistency between a page and its cited source, send the page URL and the supporting source through the contact page.

How corrections are handled

We review the controlling or best available official source, update the affected public page, and update related structured data or downloadable research when the change is material. Review dates should reflect meaningful content verification, not cosmetic edits.

What we do when the answer is uncertain

When a controlling source cannot be confirmed, the page should state that limitation instead of presenting a commercial summary or assumption as settled law. A later source review can change the classification or detail.

No silent guarantee

A “last reviewed” date means the listed sources were checked; it is not a guarantee that no law, regulation, agency interpretation, local rule, contract, or sector-specific rule applies beyond the scope reviewed.
